I will have to say that Abe won a lot of brownie points for being willing to get dressed up after working all night in order to let me take some pictures of our family. And the pictures turned out so cute that it was so worth it. The wild flowers around here have been calling to me and I kept waiting to find them mowed before I had a chance to take some pictures. Taylor was a little worried about "wild flowers" since she was pretty sure that they must be as dangerous as "wild animals". Good thing we told her that the bees were probably still asleep or she might have refused this little photo shoot.
We were lucky to have a nice peaceful Easter and enjoy my mom visiting us. I had to head out of town the next day for work so it was a nice calm before the storm. We have been enjoying the beautiful spring weather here and being able to spend so many nice evenings outside visiting with good friends. But we are starting to feel the heat of summer right around the corner.

First Beach Trip of the Year
We have enjoyed having some great friends that can always talk us into a trip to the beach. I think we were all a little hestitant to head down there at the beginning of March but it turned out to be perfect weather. I will have to admit that the water was a little cold for me but it didn't stop Abe and Ethan from taking the boogie board out in the water. We enjoyed gorgeous warm (but not hot) weather and lots of time for hanging out with friends and playing in the sand. Hopefully we can head back again before it gets too hot. Those kids can be so sweet and cute together when they want to be.

Random Pictures
I love when the kids will be patient for a few minutes and let me take some pictures. I sometimes wish I had those kids that will pose for pictures and enjoy it but mine do not. But every now and then we still get some cute ones. Taylor is a little more willing but Ethan usually wants all of his pictures to be action shots and those never turn out for me.
